Movie Review: Resident Evil

It's an action movie, and there were zombies and shit. Seriously, what were you expecting? It, like the game, fails at creating a genuine sense of fear or dread, and makes up for it by having things jump out at you. And not just monsters either. Constantly. It was like "let me... OPENTHATDOORFORYOU!!!". It kinda sucked because I'm rather high strung. I jump at everything. I'll know something is gonna happen, and still jump. I'm retarded.

The direction was shallow. There would be a really cool shot, then ten minutes of blah. Some of the CG looked shitty. The acting was alright. Not a lot of dialogue or character development of course. Mostly just running and shooting. Still, it's a fun action movie. It needed more one liners though.
