One of my classes at school is in, basically, the coolest building in Seattle. It's an awesome, 1920's, Egypt themed, indie Movie Theater/Masonic Temple. Yes... those masons. Leave it to the Free Masons to have stained glass with like, books, and T-Squares, and compasses. Stone reliefs too.

I find it really interesting that Croteam, the only software development company where everyone has seen real military combat, is also the maker of the least realistic and most fanciful of first person shooters.

I hadn't noticed before, but this weekend a friend of mine pointed out the horror that is black and yellow diagonal stripes. In SO MANY games, this is used as idiot proof shorthand to tell you "uh oh! I'm not supposed to be here!!!!!1" It's the kind of little detail that only a Q.A. guy would ever see enough of to start the hate.
